We have an opportunity for a motivated individual with HVAC technical experience and office skills to assist in managing the HVAC department for Sippin Energy Products. Sippin Energy Products is a full-service HVAC contractor as well as liquid fuels delivery of propane and fuel oils. The HVAC Service Supervisor position is a salaried position with benefits.

Qualifications

  • 5 years of HVAC field experience. Supervisory or management roles are a plus.
  • Be proficient in Microsoft Office programs.
  • Be available after hours for ‘Supervisor on Call’ duties on a rotation schedule.
  • Have a strong desire to provide excellent customer service.
  • Weekends and after hours are required as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Process the sales orders for HVAC equipment installation or replacements. These sales orders are brought forward by the equipment estimators.
  • Complete building permit forms.
  • Order the major components of the installation. Arrange delivery or shipment to project location.
  • Arrange subcontractors if needed.
  • Manage installations by scheduling projects based on installer availability.
  • Follow up on recommendations for work needed from the technician’s work orders.
  • Review and estimate the materials and labor needed to do the job.
  • Price out the repair.
  • Acquire the necessary materials and coordinate labor with dispatch for scheduling.
  • Contact he customer to schedule the job and answer any questions they have.
  • Available for manager on call duties on a rotating basis.
  • Assist Customer Service with customer’s technical inquiries into service performed.
  • Review Time Management Reports for Field Technician’s hours.
  • Inventory Control
  • Maintain stock of HVAC parts and equipment for installations.
  • Manage parts replenishment of parts used from service vans.
  • Oversee annual physical inventory counts for all locations.
  • Maintain working inventory of consumable items such as wipes, gloves, chemicals, etc.
  • Refrigerant management
  • Manage refrigerant purchase and reclamation
  • Tools & Analyzers
  • Maintenance of company owned tools and analyzers.
  • Technical assistance
  • Answer procedural and technical calls from Field Personnel.
  • Oversee Billing
  • Oversee service and installation billing
  • Assist in providing information with regards to parts and/or labor costs.
  • Provide completed purchase orders for processing.

 

Job Description

Sippin Energy Products is currently seeking applicants for the position of Customer Service Representative. Customer Service Representatives provide essential communications with Sippin energy customers by voice and electronic correspondence. Customer service representatives are also responsible for a number of internal administrative tasks such as billing, payment processing, posting, etc. It is preferred that applicants have a basic knowledge of home energy and HVAC. Sippin Energy Products also utilizes extensive technology and computer systems to serve its customers, consequently, experience and knowledge of business computing systems is required. Further requirements are as follows:

  • Must be proficient in all MS Office Applications

Compensation & Benefits:

  • $40-50k/Year starting base salary (based on skill and experience)

Sippin Energy presently has positions available for seasonal Class B Hazmat Fuel and Propane Delivery drivers. All applicants must have CDL hazmat certification, with tanker in air brake endorsements. All drivers must have clean driving records and pass a comprehensive background check. The benefits and requirements for these positions are as follows:

Requirements:

  • Class B CDL hazmat license with tanker and air brake endorsements
  • At least three years delivery experience in either heating oil or propane delivery preferred
  • Driver training certificates preferred
  • Clean driving record
  • The ability to work extended hours and weekends if necessary
  • All applicants must be physically fit and be able to meet the physical demands of the job

  • Class B: 2-5 Years’ Experience Heating Oil & Propane: $28-$30/Hour
  • Class B: 5-10 Years’ Experience Heating Oil & Propane: $31-32/ Hour

Our work is comprised of mostly residential oil heat as well as air conditioning and some oil tank work. Installations range from hydro-air to warm air systems, as well as hot water heaters, steam, radiant, etc. Our service fleet is state of the art and we provide the very best equipment and safety gear.

Sippin Energy is regularly in search of talented individuals interested in a career in HVAC. Trade education or significant experience is a requirement of apprenticeship. We will generally judge applicants qualifications by the degree of technical aptitude they display along with their knowledge and enthusiasm. Apprenticeship may take from 6 months to two years depending upon what type of trade license the individual is pursuing. Sippin Energy will provide on the job training as well as seminar training.
